About
A joint venture between Citroën and Peugeot, the Berlingo and Partner were introduced to the UK in 1996 as purpose-built Vans available in 600kg or 800kg payloads. The Berlingo Multispace MPV was introduced in mid-1998, which is mechanically identical to the Van version but with the addition of rear seats, side windows and additional interior trim. The Peugeot MPV version, known as the Partner Combi, joined the line-up for 2001. A variety of petrol and diesels engines have been offered, including 1.4- and 1.6-litre petrol engines, and 1.8-, 1.9- and 2.0-litre diesels.
