Key features:
The Mercedes-Benz Benz Sprinter was launched in May 1995, and attracted very favourable reviews. All engines were developments of well- proven engines. Fully independent suspension was fitted front and rear, with a transverse leaf spring inside the front subframe and dampers bolted under the front wings and a semi-floating rear axle with leaf springs and dampers. Anti-lock brakes (ABS), power steering, central locking, electric mirrors, and airbags were available for all vehicles. The most recent models featured passenger and side airbags, electric front windows, traction control and cruise control. Provided that regular servicing is carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations, the Sprinter should prove very reliable. The engine compartment was well designed, and most of the items requiring frequent attention are easily accessible. At Haynes, we have an extensive range of Mercedes repair manuals and online maintenance procedures available for professional mechanics and DIY car enthusiasts. Our Mercedes Sprinter repair manuals are here to help you through every stage of servicing or fixing your car.
