The aim of this Renault Clio manual is to help you get the best value from your car. It can do so in several ways. It can help you decide what work must be done, even if you choose to have it done by a dealer; it provides information and procedures for routine maintenance and servicing and it offers diagnostic and repair procedures to follow when trouble occurs. We hope you use the manual to tackle the work yourself.
Three petrol engines and one diesel engine are available in the Clio range. The petrol engines are in 1.2, 1.4, and 1.6 litre sizes, and the diesel engine is 1.9 litre. All petrol engines use a fuel-injection system, and diesel engines use an indirect injection system. The direct injection system on the F9QT engine is not covered in this Manual. All the engines are of excellent design and, provided regular maintenance is carried out, are unlikely to give trouble. Our Renault Clio repair manual makes the ideal companion when you’re undertaking maintenance or repairs on your car.
