About

The Vauxhall Corsa Mk4 was introduced in September 2006. It was available in 3- and 5-door hatchback, and 3-door van versions with 1.0-, 1.2- and 1.4-litre petrol engines, and 1.4-, 1.6- and 1.7-litre turbodiesels. All engine had four cylinders, bar the 1.0-litre engine, which was a three-cylinder unit. The engines all has fuel injection and were fitted with a range of emission control systems. According to engine type, the manual gearbox is of the five- or six-speed all synchromesh type, with a four-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission. An ‘Easytronic’ manual/automatic transmission was also available on both petrol and diesel engine models.
