The facelifted BMW 3 Series saloon (E90) and Tourer (E91) were introduced in October 2008 and come with a choice of 2.0-litre petrol engines and 2.0-litre or 3.0-litre diesel engines. The engines are of 4- and 6-cylinder double-overhead camshaft design, mounted longitudinally with the transmission mounted on its rear. All BMW 3-Series models have fully independent front and rear suspension, with anti-roll bars fitted to the front and rear. A wide range of equipment is available within the BMW 3-Series range to suit most tastes, and our BMW 3 Series repair manual is here to help you through every stage of servicing or fixing your car.
