Key features:
The Citroën C2 was introduced into the UK in a three-door Hatchback form in September 2003. At its launch, the C2 was offered with a choice of 1.1 (1124cc), 1.4 (1360cc) and 1.6 (1587cc) petrol engines or 1.4 litre (1398cc) HDi turbo-diesel engine. Later in 2005 a 1.4 litre (1360cc) 16-valve petrol engine was added to the range. The engines are all versions of the well-proven units which have appeared in many Citroën/Peugeot vehicles over the years, with the exception of the 1.4 litre HDi engine. In 2007 a 1.6 litre HDi diesel engine was added to the range (not covered in this manual).
The engine is mounted transversely at the front of vehicle, with the transmission mounted on its left-hand end. All engines are fitted with a 5-speed manual transmission as standard, with a 5-speed “Sensodrive” (semi-automatic) transmission being optionally available on most models.
This Haynes Citroën C2 manual will help you learn how to service and repair your car with confidence.
