The Citroën Xsara Picasso was launched in June 2000. The Xsara Picasso range was available with six engine options, comprising 1.6-, 1.8- and 2.0-litre petrol engines, and 1.6- and 2.0-litre turbodiesels. The engines were all linked to a five-speed manual transmission, or four-speed automatic transmission. All models had fully-independent front suspension. The rear suspension was semi-independent, with torsion bars and trailing arms. Equipment included power steering, central locking, engine immobiliser, electric windows, and an electric sunroof. Air-conditioning was available as an option, depending on trim level. Provided that regular servicing is carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations, the Citroën Xsara Picasso should prove economical and simple to fix, because most of the items requiring frequent attention are easily accessible. At Haynes, we have an extensive range of Citroen repair manuals and online maintenance procedures available for professional mechanics and DIY car enthusiasts. Our Citroen Xsara Picasso repair manuals will guide you through servicing and fixing your car.
