Key features:
The Mk6 Ford Fiesta was introduced in April 2002. The long-wheelbase design gave greatly improved interior space, while the Intelligent Protection System offered good passenger safety. Three-door and 5-door Hatchback models were available, along with a 3-door van. Duratec petrol engines ranged from a 1.3 litre 8-valve to 1.25, 1.4 and 1.6 litre twin-cam 16-valve units. The common-rail 1.4-litre Duratorq TDCi was co-developed with Peugeot. The Fusion, which arrived in September 2002, is really a Fiesta-based mini-MPV, identical in many respects to the car it’s based on. Our Ford Fiesta repair manual is here to help you through every stage of servicing or fixing your car.
