Key features:
The Mk5 Volkswagen Polo was launched in October 2009, and its 1.2-litre (3-cylinder) and 1.4 litre (4-cylinder) petrol engines were well-proven units. The 1.2-litre diesel engine was added to the range in February 2010, and the 1.6-litre diesel engine had already been seen in the VW Golf. All models have fully independent front suspension. The rear suspension is semi-independent, with suspension struts, trailing arms and a ‘self-steering’ torsion beam axle. The engine compartment is well designed, and most of the items needing frequent attention are easily accessible. Our Haynes Volkswagen Polo repair manual is here to help you through every stage of servicing or fixing your car.
